Managing risks is a vital component of managing a practice. Unfortunately we can’t ever eliminate all risks from medical practices, however we can put procedures in place to minimise and manage these risks. This allows a practice to reduce the likelihood of severe adverse outcomes occurring in the practice.

In this session you will learn how to identify risks and develop and implement a risk management action plan, thereby reducing the likelihood of an incident occurring in your practice.

Content:	• Identifying risks before an incident occurs. • Assessing risks • What is required in a risk management plan • Implementing a risk management plan
Location:	AMA House, 293 Royal Parade, Parkville
Fee:	$150 for staff of AMA members $200 for staff of non AMA members
